Viewing Tickets in Shopify Admin

See customer support tickets directly on Shopify order and customer pages.

SDesk Admin Extensions

SDesk adds helpful widgets to your Shopify admin:

  • Order Page Widget: See tickets related to a specific order
  • Customer Page Widget: See all tickets from a customer

Order Page Tickets

When viewing an order in Shopify:

  1. Open any order in Shopify Admin
  2. Look for the SDesk Tickets card in the sidebar
  3. See all tickets linked to this order
  4. Click a ticket to open it in SDesk

What You'll See

  • Ticket subject
  • Current status (Open, Pending, Closed)
  • Last message preview
  • Quick link to open in SDesk

Customer Page Tickets

When viewing a customer profile:

  1. Open a customer in Shopify Admin
  2. Find the SDesk Tickets card
  3. See all support tickets from this customer
  4. View ticket history across all their orders

Creating Tickets from Shopify

From the order or customer page widget:

  1. Click New Ticket
  2. A new ticket is created pre-linked to the order/customer
  3. You're redirected to SDesk to compose your message

Troubleshooting

Widget not appearing?

  • Ensure SDesk app is properly installed
  • Check that extensions are enabled in Shopify
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Contact support if issues persist
