What Are Ticket Types?
Ticket types categorize support requests. They appear in your contact form dropdown and help organize your inbox.
Default Ticket Types
- General Inquiry
- Order Issue
- Returns & Exchanges
- Product Question
- Shipping
- Other
Adding Custom Ticket Types
- Go to Settings
- Find Ticket Types
- Click Add Ticket Type
- Enter the name
- Optionally add auto-tags
- Save
Using Ticket Types
Ticket types help you:
- Categorize incoming requests
- Filter inbox by type
- Route to appropriate team members
- Track common issues
Auto-Tagging
Assign automatic tags to ticket types. When a customer selects that type, the ticket is auto-tagged.
