Linking Orders to Tickets
Connect tickets to Shopify orders for better context when helping customers.
Why Link Orders?
When an order is linked to a ticket, you can:
- See order details without leaving SDesk
- View what the customer purchased
- Check shipping status
- Access the order in Shopify with one click
Automatic Order Linking
SDesk automatically links orders when:
- Customer emails from the same email as their Shopify account
- Email contains an order number
Manually Linking an Order
If an order wasn't automatically linked:
- Open the ticket
- In the sidebar, find Linked Order
- If customer has orders, you'll see Recent Orders
- Click the + icon next to the order you want to link
Unlinking an Order
- Open the ticket
- Find the linked order in the sidebar
- Click Unlink order
Viewing Order Details
Once linked, you'll see:
- Order number
- Order total
- Fulfillment status
- Link to view full order in Shopify
