Email Branding and SDESK Footer

Customize your support email appearance and manage the "Sent with SDESK" branding.

Understanding Email Branding

Email branding controls how your support emails look to customers. This includes:

  • Brand Color - Your primary color used in email headers
  • Brand Logo - Your logo displayed at the top of emails
  • SDESK Footer - The "Sent with SDESK" link at the bottom

The "Sent with SDESK" Footer

By default, all emails include a small "Sent with SDESK" footer at the bottom. This contains:

  • The SDESK logo (small)
  • "Sent with SDESK" text
  • A link to the SDESK website

Hiding the SDESK Footer (Starter+)

On paid plans, you can remove the "Sent with SDESK" footer:

  1. Go to Settings → Email Branding
  2. Find Hide "Sent with SDESK" footer
  3. Enable the toggle
  4. Click Save Branding

Customizing Brand Colors

Available on Starter plan and above:

  1. Go to Settings → Email Branding
  2. Click the color picker or enter a hex code
  3. Your brand color appears in email headers
  4. Click Save Branding

Adding Your Logo

  1. Upload your logo to a public URL (or use your Shopify CDN)
  2. Go to Settings → Email Branding
  3. Paste the logo URL
  4. Your logo replaces the store name in email headers
  5. Click Save Branding

Email Preview

Use the Live Preview section to see exactly how your emails will look to customers before saving changes.

Tips for Professional Emails

  • Use a high-contrast logo - Make sure it's readable on your brand color background
  • Keep logos small - Recommended max height: 40px
  • Test on mobile - Many customers read emails on their phones
  • Match your website colors - Consistency builds trust
