Understanding AI Credits
Learn how AI credits work and how to manage your usage.
What Are AI Credits?
AI credits are used each time you use an AI feature in SDesk. Different features use different amounts of credits:
- Generate Draft: 1 credit per generation
- Improve Text: 1 credit per improvement
- Summarize: 1 credit per summary
- Quick Replies: 1 credit per suggestion
Credits by Plan

Checking Your Usage
- Go to Settings → AI Copilot
- View your credit balance at the top
- See credits used and remaining
- Check when credits reset (next billing date)
Usage Breakdown
The settings page shows:
- Total credits used this period
- Breakdown by feature type
- Usage trend over time
What Happens When Credits Run Out?
When you've used all credits:
- AI features become temporarily unavailable
- You can still reply manually
- Credits reset on your next billing date
- Upgrade your plan for more credits
Tips to Maximize Credits
- Use AI for complex tickets, handle simple ones manually
- Set up custom instructions so drafts need less editing
- Use quick responses for common questions instead of AI
- Review the draft before regenerating (regenerating uses another credit)
Upgrading for More Credits
Need more AI power? Upgrade your plan:
- Go to Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select a higher tier
- Get more credits immediately
