Understanding the Dashboard

The SDesk dashboard gives you an overview of your support activity at a glance.

Dashboard Metrics

At the top of your inbox, you'll see key metrics:

  • Open Tickets - Tickets waiting for your response
  • Pending Tickets - Tickets waiting for customer reply
  • New Today - Tickets received today
  • Closed Today - Tickets resolved today

Ticket Statuses Explained

Understanding ticket statuses helps you prioritize your work:

  • Open - Customer is waiting for your response. These should be your priority.
  • Pending - You've replied and are waiting for the customer. No action needed yet.
  • Closed - Issue is resolved. The ticket is archived but still searchable.

Navigation

Use the sidebar to navigate between:

  • Inbox - View and manage tickets
  • Settings - Configure your support desk
  • Billing - Manage your subscription

Filtering Tickets

Use the filter bar above your ticket list to:

  • Filter by status (Open, Pending, Closed, All)
  • Filter by assigned agent
  • Search by customer email or subject
